Message After posting for help on numerous forums and even calling Apexi USA, I finally got some answers. A guy from zcar.com contacted me. He has the same model in his Supra and thought he was the only one in the world to own one. He was having problems with hoses but the wiring was finished while I was having problems with wiring but had the hoses already run. Over the weekend, he decided to trace the wires for me. In case anybody ever runs across this model, here is how to set it up according to his explanation:

The solenoid has 2 wires, the controller unit has a spot for 2 connectors as well as a BOOST IN hose nipple, and there are 3 wires coming off to go to the ECU (red, black, & green). It was those 3 wires that had me confused.

Apparently, the black is ground (duh). He said the red is ignition power so it is only powered when the ignition is on. This must mean the boost controller does not store any settings when the car gets turned off. The green wire (the tricky one) apparently goes to the injector wire. He said it reads the pulse rate of #1 cylinder to check RPM.

Now I just need to get it all hooked up in my Z. Hopefully, I'll have more than 5 psi (no stock boost solenoids) within the next couple days.

Here is another pic of the unit in case anybody else has it and has no clue how to install it.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
